At BeSharp Experts, we want to inform you about an important change announced by Microsoft regarding their Azure technical support. As of June 30, 2024, Microsoft will no longer offer free technical support for Azure to customers with an Enterprise Agreement (EA) and Microsoft Customer Agreement Enterprise (MCA-E).
What does this mean for you?
If you are currently using the free technical support offered through your Enterprise Agreement or Customer Agreement Enterprise, you should be aware that this support will soon be unavailable without a paid support plan. This means that if you do not have a paid support plan, you will need to choose to continue receiving technical support for Azure.
Available support plans
Microsoft offers several support plans that you can consider:
- Standard Azure Support Plan: For $100 per month, you get access to basic technical support and the ability to receive assistance with technical issues.
- Professional Direct Azure Support Plan: For $1,000 per month, you receive faster response times for critical workloads, a dedicated architecture support (delivery manager), API access, operational support, training, and proactive guidance.
- Developer Support Plan: Specifically designed for developers, this plan costs just $29 per month and provides basic technical support tailored to development needs.
It is important to note that support for billing and subscription issues will still be free for all customers.
