Microsoft has announced that, effective February 1, 2026, the prices of its Commercial Cloud services will be adjusted in five currencies: CHF, DKK, EUR, NOK, and SEK. This is the first price reduction for customers paying in these currencies in recent memory.

The change is intended to better align pricing with global levels. On-premises software remains unchanged.

After several price increases in recent years and the recently announced price increases as of July 1, 2026This is the first downward adjustment for some of Microsoft's Commercial Cloud services. According to Microsoft, this adjustment is part of a broader currency harmonization effort aimed at reducing price differences between regions.
